Continuing in our series, Pandemic Parenting, this week we talk to Kari Kampakis. Kari is the author of the new book Love Her Well: 10 Ways to Find Joy and Connection with Your Teenage Daughter. If you have a daughter, know someone with a daughter, or serve teenagers in any capacity, this book is a very hope-filled and practical guide to loving them well. Even if your daughter is younger, she will be a teenager one day, and now is the time to build the foundation with her for what's to come later. Kari brings her wealth of experience writing for and working with teenagers to us and our listeners as we all navigate how to love the girls in our life well. It is a powerful and practical discussion.

Kari Kampakis is an author, speaker, blogger, and newspaper columnist from Birmingham, Alabama.

Her two books for teen girls, 10 Ultimate Truths Girls Should Know and Liked: Whose Approval Are You Living For, have been used widely across the country by teen youth groups and small groups to empower girls through faith. Kari’s newest book, Love Her Well: 10 Ways to Find Joy and Connection with Your Teenage Daughter, releases August 2020.

Kari’s work has been featured on The Huffington Post, The TODAY Show, EWTN, Proverbs 31, Yahoo! News, The Eric Metaxas Show, Ann Voskamp’s blog, and other national outlets. She and her husband, Harry, have four daughters and a dog named Lola.
