Continuing in our Lent series on idols, we explore 3 American idols- marriage/romance, parenting and politics. We know those aren't the only idols we struggle with as a culture, but we know they can be some of the biggies. We also know these can be subtle idols. On the surface, none of them are bad or sinful, but when they take the place of God as our object of worship or control, that's when they can cross into unhealthy territory. Thankfully, God's grace is abundant as we struggle to put these idols in their proper place.
